The Coracha was once one of the oldest neighborhoods of Malaga, it no longer exists today. Instead it has been replaced with a set of ramps and stairs that were designed by a famous Spanish architect named Temboury. Some people from Malaga love the new design and others wish that they had kept this old historic part of the city. I take you on a walk and tour of Malaga and we hear the story of the Coracha as told by a woman from Malaga.

Great video again. Fabulous to find out the history of the area too. Been to the castle a few times but see. It in a different light and cannot wait to go back and visit with friends and pass on the history of La Coracha (eat at that lovely restaurant too, I love Russian Salad). The tapas bars along the back streets, or wherever the locals eat, are the places to go. Thanks again for a lovely walk. Looking forward to part 2. Stay safe. Carol x

I saw some old photos of this are on my Facebook group and was stunned to see how it used to look. So glad this woman was there to give me the story through her eyes. Part 2 will talk about bullfighting, I share the brutal business of it all. Thanks for watching.

Spanish people are normally warm and inviting, especially when you can speak their language and show respect for their city and country. I would like to come back here and try some of their wine next time. Thanks for watching.

Hi, That is one of your best videos. Wehave been to Malaga lots of times and up to the castle often, but somehow we missed that restaurant. The history of that area was very interesting and look forward to the next part.

Thanks for saying that Peter, I really enjoy making videos where I interact with people. If you look at some of my older videos I did a few interviews here and there. It's one of my favorite things to do. Cheers!

Hiya, winter beard coming on :) looking good, *I love your chatty vlogs,* *you are always so enthusiastic* *always good vibes* You are right, so many places having work done, but in this crazy time, it makes sense to do the work without so many tourists, the plants on your journey were beautiful, the views behind you as you walk are just breathtaking, bless that lady telling you the history, there is not enough romance around these days, I wish I liked wine and could enjoy the aroma and taste, but I love a beer, lol, one day I will buy you one :)

Always appreciate all your kind comments, maybe you have just not tried a good wine before. The ones I like are quite light and not bitter. Maybe give it another try one day. It's always interesting to learn about the history of a place, it's amazing to me when you see pictures of a place you are standing on and how it used to look. Hope you have a great weekend!😃

Hi TAG thats a nice walkabout. I don't think you shot that today because it was raining all day right across the south. I've decided to stay here for the winter because Ireland where I live is locked down for 6 weeks and my daughter is sleeping in my bed since she lost her job with Ethiad in Dubai. What is the weather normally like. I suppose you might get some weak sunshine during the day and cold at night. Already we need a jacket in the evening. I have the option to remain until February. Have you been living there a while

Sorry to hear about your daughter, that's sad news. Winter here is normally mild during the day, can be on the cold side at night. January and February are the coldest, sometimes down to the single digits Celsius overnight. Some rain is to be expected during the winter as well, no snow. There can also be some really nice sunny days as well. Prepare for January, some type of heater at night and warm blankets.

She was really helpful with the explanation, I love hearing from people that have lived through these things. I talked with an older woman one time about how Spain used to be. It was quite different under the Franco regime.

Bro, thanks for the videos but if you're going to wear a mask, please actually wear it. Any doctor will tell you that not covering the nose is almost the same as not wearing one.
