To be able to walk in a city such as this in Europe, is a luxury any American can't imagine, and jet so simple. And any European takes for granted. Feel very lucky! Having walks by your home, or in your city, and to people watch, keeps you connected and sane!!! to be able to hangout at any age! And have pretty things to see, without he need of a car. More valuable than any Hollywood, or millionaire gated private communities, empty of people. No Botox needed! Just smile!!

I still remember my travel across the States ,from New Hampshire to California and amazing diversity of landscapes and people.In other words: America the Beautiful ! But it is cool and funny that States have always been magnet for so many Europeans whereas Americans are delighted with Europe 🙂What I was a bit missng in the States was that here in Europe every city is different due to mix of old and modern architecture whereas some US cities lack ,for natural reasons,this unique vibe of history. Indeed, "grass is always greener on the other side". What I like about Spain , it is country with feeling of personal safety. Nice words about Europe are always appreciated !

I had the privilege to visit Laurel, Maryland. The streets were where ordinary middle classes lived. They kept their houses in immaculate order, their front gardens were neat and tidy, the pavements were ultra clean and the grass verges were neatly trimmed. The roads were wide and had little traffic. There was a sense of peace. Coming from London this was an eye opener, total opposite to what we have here. So most middle class American towns are first world.

Spain so clean . every city in Spain is super clean
@mirek82235 жыл бұрын
I totally disagree. Malaga on this video is indeed quite clean. But have you been to major cities e.g. Barcelona or Valencia or Mardrid? May I ask where are you from ? We may have different definition of "clean". Trash on the streets is so common in Spanish cities (especially next to containers) and people have no idea how to sort it ! People (that includes also foreign tourists) have bad habits of throwing things on the floor even when sitting in bars, pubs, etc. and the number of bars and pubs in at least part of Spaniah major cities is great.This smells and looks horrible comparing to another EU countries, excluding some South European that are even worse (e.g. some Italian cities). Clothing and other stuff hanging outside and falling on internal yards and no one collects that. I am not used to something like this even though I am not pedantic. I do not really blame people for that but the system is wrong and should be changed. I like a lot Spain and Spanish people.However, this is the negative side of Spain but can be improved at low cost with better organization and fair amount of good will. There is even trash on the streets in much smaller cities. Young people go on school strikes in another countries to save our Earth and here I cannot get young people (we know each other) do basic sorting of different kinds of trash. They seem to be only interested in parties and not in own future and common good. I do not know where you get your opinion from and how well you know Spain. I only hope things can change for better. The non - urban and less populated areas may naturally clean but do not tell me every city in Spain is clean,especially major cities that I have seen. Either we have different definition of "clean" or this is manifestly false.
@mirek82234 жыл бұрын
@Nefer Hor I know Berlin quite well and I have not noticed it.For me,"clean" means in the first place how city handles trash containers and in ALL of these Spanish cities you mentioned ,not only containers are not in separsted areas but visible on streets,but ,more importantly trash ofen overfills containers and things lie besides containers.There was even masdive plague of rats besides containers in Madrid televised on main Spanish tv nrws just a few days ago (even close to governmental site !) and you are telling me Madrid is clean,sic! I live in Spain and have stayed longer in a few Spanish cities so my view is direct and I have also another European cities to compare to. Only parts of major American cities were worse with trash lying eveeywhere not just besides containers like in Spain.Spain should improve -periof. Also,you cannot compare small cities like Malaga with global cities overpopulated like Berlin. Bte,Berlin handles recycling much better than any city in Europe. Spain is besutifiul but this situation in cities is terrible ans should be criticized. Even in small Spanish city where I live now,one of the richest in Spsin in its size and not densely populated,trash is also lying besides containers in many places..So it is not about money as Northerm Europe is mostly richer,it is wrong organization and if you are Spanish and feel obligated to defend Spain,it is more patriotic to change i and make Spain better.Also,in large Spanish cities,clothes hang in internal backyards outside windows (no laundry rooms e.g. in basements)and many things fall down and stay there forever. This is not hygienic for public -badly organized. In València,I lreally ike this city, but large of number of cockroaches can be found on streets even in city center. This is not impression of clean.I do NOT wanna continue this issue any more because I am tired of explaining things anyone can check for themselves.I did."Clean" is relative term but if you wanna see REALLY clean cities,go to Sweden (besides maybe part of central Stockholm next to Centralstationen). Trash is not on street in Sweden and not stinking besides containers but segeegated and closed in specal sheds called miljöstugas. This looks REALLY clean. And I am not Swedish but Sweden is good example that it does not have to be like this. I am done with topic,thank you all.

@@mirek8223, what's the matter with you? Are you blind? Malaga, and Spanish cities, in general, are really clean for the European standards. The garbage trucks collect the trash every single day of the year unlike most of the cities in Europe. And about hanging clothes, did yo know that's the most echological way of drying? Please, do a favor to yourself and stop telling nonsense. So much ridiculous hatred can't be healthy for you.
