Beat the heat with this refreshing Malai Tadgola Ice Cream recipe! Made with fresh cream, milk, and Tadgola (also known as Nungu Fruit!), this ice cream is naturally delicious and free of artificial ingredients.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup fresh cream
• 1 cup full-fat milk
• 1 cup milk powder
• ¾ cup powdered sugar
• Tadgola, as required
Method:
1. Blend together, cream, milk, milk powder and powdered sugar to a smooth mixture.
2. Pour into an icecream tin and cover with a cling wrap. Close the lid and freeze for 5-6 hours until it’s semi set. This is the base of the icecream.
3. After 5-6 hrs, remove and cut as shown.
4. Blend it once again and pour back into the icecream tin.
5. Now, peel the tadgola and chop into small cubes. Mix into the base and once again, cover with cling wrap and close the lid. Freeze overnight or until set.
6. Remove, scoop out and serve.
7. Garnish with some more fresh tadgola and enjoy!
Vishesh Tippani:
- Covering ice cream mould with cling wrap helps prevent ice crystals.
- To get a super smooth ice cream texture, cut the ice cream Once it’s semi-set and blend it once again. This will break any ice crystals that may form.
- We don’t want to add the water of tadgola. Ensure to remove it.
- You can add any fruit of your choice to the ice cream base.
