Oh Malala, I was almost crying watching this video! I'm so impressed, thank you so much for letting us remember the power of education! I totally agree that wars can't be solved by wars but it can be solved through dialogues and education, and hence we're supposed to support people by sending pens (instead of guns), books (instead of tanks), and teachers (instead of armies). Thank you Malala, you have enlighten my goals to pursue my dream for master degree. Keep shining and inspiring!

+Nitin Kumar VISHNU Vishnu is said to have raped Tulsi/Vrinda by assuming the guise of her husband. What can be more disgusting than a god raping a chaste lady, Shiva Purana, Rudra Samhita 2, Yudha Khanda 5, Ch 23.38-45 ”On seeing her husband, Vrnda too was delighted. She forgot her sorrow. She considered everything a dream. Delighted in the heart and with all the dormant passions kindled up, she sported with him for many days in the middle of that forest. Onceat the end of the sexual intercourse she realised that it was Visnu. Vrnda rebuked him angrily and spoke thus. Vrnda said:-Fie on this misdeed of Visnu in outraging the modesty of another man’s wife. I have now realised you as the wielder of illusion, appearing in the guise of an ascetic. Sanatkumara said:-O Vyasa, saying thus in great anger she showed her brilliant powers as a staunch chaste lady by cursing Visnu. “O base foe of the Daityas, defiler of other people’s virtue, O wicked one, take this curse from me, greater in force than all persons. The two persons whom you made to appear in front of me shall become Raksasas and abduct your wife. You will be distressed on account of separation from your wife roaming about with Sesa ‘lord of snakes’ who posed as your disciple here. You will seek the help of monkeys in the forest.” Tr. +Nitin Kumar They say little knowledge is dangerous. You are a perfect example of an ignorant, misinformed, hateful person, who probably hasnt even read the Quran, or studied Islam with an open mind, but rather searches up all his nonsense from an Islamophobic website that is run by a pedophile.
@hammy2039 жыл бұрын
***** Don't waste you time and breath on someone so ill minded and hateful. Once and ignorant always an ignorant if Allah (SWT) wills. Imam Ali (as) has said that "Silence is the best reply to a fool", so just keep quite and ignore his pathetic little comments.

I felt disappointed when read the comments below about the publicity stunt. I don't understand why the people are away from the topic or reluctant to face the reality of developing countries. If being a young girl, she talks about the equality, justice, and humanity are the main sources to hold and keep the world peaceful then why being an adult we close our eyes and shut the topic with the negative comments. We need to understand that if justice, equality, respect of equal rights are not given to everyone then the birth of cruelty, violence, and evil thoughts begin. We need to finish the roots of those thoughts by giving the equal rights to all religion, cast, community, beliefs, and respect of their existence. Make the new generation busy in creative, constructive and most important to getting education. We need to learn from her, she got the chance to speak up in her second life again. What about us if we have a single life only, does we fulfil the responsibility of mankind. Just think what we left for our generation. Love you Malala your thoughts and approach are respectful for all humanity!

In school, my class was given an in-class questionnaire. One of the questions asked us, "AGREE or DISAGREE, All humans have freedom of speech?" My teacher then asked us our opinion. More than half of my classmates agreed. It shocked me that so many people could be so rationally ignorant to the world around them. Yes, as Americans, my classmates and I are guaranteed some freedom of speech, religion, expression, assembly, and petition. But that is only somewhat true. Those rights don't fully protect against slander or what not. But that's just us as Americans. How could so many people around me not understand the inequality happening around the world? Burma, Turkmenistan, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Eritrea, Cuba, Uzbekistan, Syria, and Belarus are just a small number of countries without this right. In the society we live in, we as humans, chose to be rationally ignorant; however, we don't have to live like this. We can strive and work together to change the world we live in, and come to understand the cultures on this planet. But it starts with us. We change the way we view the world, and we can shape the world we live in.
@khushilanker10 жыл бұрын
I wish I could show you a society essay... I wrote about the same topic... I understand when you say 'rationally ignorant' to these topics. Mostly its that people are not interested in what other people have to say unless they have something in common. Inequality is only justified if there is a common link present, otherwise it tends to deviate people's attention. I really hope you achieve whatever it is you believe :)

Hi, I'm trying to translate this speech into Japanese, and I'd like you to help me. I really can't understand what she's saying around 01:47. "Ankle"? At first I thought she was saying "uncle," but I googled the name Junaid and realized he wasn't her uncle. And in the beginning of her speech she said about Drew Faust, was it a kind of an irony? Why everybody was laughing? She said "And I guess, that the president, respected president Drew Faust would proudly say, as a first woman founder and president of the Harvard University, and I guess she isn't here..." right? As a non-native speaker, it's so hard to catch what she says when she speaks with her accent. There are a few other parts I want to make clear to me, but the two are what I really couldn't figure out. Thanks.
@TheYasmineFlower9 жыл бұрын
VigorousVicious He doesn't have to be her actual uncle for her to call him "uncle". Children call unrelated adults "uncle" or "aunt" often. Besides, he saved her life, that might have influenced her calling him something so close to her.
@gumzagul82679 жыл бұрын
+VigorousVicious ,the word that she told is not ankle but uncle ,that she spoke for the Dr junaid .it is usually spoken for the person who is your father like.

***** All usupporters of her seem to be very peaceful, open-minded people asking me to kill myself because of a different opinion. Kinda sums up my point really, herself doesn't really do anything worthy of a noble price, the only reason she got attention is because she got shot. And her supporters are clearly "moral knights of the internets", your typical douchebags that tell everyone who shares a different and not always politically correct opinion to die. You're a sad fuck, truly.
