Amazing animal interaction, the Giraffes are unhappy with the Redhawk loitering around but they have numbers & a bit of intimidation sent him packing. Delighted to see the Marthly beauty in fantastic condition & well fed, a truly exceptional lioness who has shown her true mettle & resilience throughout her journey❤️The strong Othawa pack enjoying life along the unfailing Sand River. The most impressive Island female❤️Majestic & picturesque scene as she was drinking. The tough beastly bruiser was going ballistic smashing through branches & throwing his weight around forcing the Island female to retreat to the safety of the tree. Which Kruger male😍?Impressive specimen, imposing size he has spunk & attitude but he has bitten off more than he can chew with the Torchwood girls😹Beautiful ending with the impalas & zebra under a blazing orange sunset that is the fiery kiss to the night. Thank you so much, *𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪*, incredible sightings & most spectacular.

It seems that Mohawk and Darkmane (NAvoca) met some of the Torchwood lionesses far back into 2021. It could be that Mohawk was trying to rekindle something lately. But, the 2nd lion in this video really wouldn't be either Darkmane OR Blondie. Darkmane lately is in no way the condition that the 2nd lion here is in. Also, Blondie really probably has a permanent limp in at least one leg, and the 2nd lion here DOES NOT; also, the 2nd lion here does not have the bony hips that Blondie does, and not the muscle atrophy either. So, while the 1st lion here is probably Mohawk--who gets attacked and is left limping as a result--the identitly of the 2nd lion is probably STILL QUESTIONABLE. Just who? Maybe the surviving KNP male who went into action too late, trying to get rid of Mohawk--the lionesses had already done their part, BUT these might've been lionesses who did NOT mate with Mohawk and Darkmane way back into 2021.

We’re actually all wrong 🙈 This video was taken by one of our training rangers and we made the mistake of assuming identity based on location - this took place along the Kruger boundary about 1km south of our northern boundary - look carefully at the limping lion as he runs across the road and watch how his front left foot lands… it faces north while the lion is running east - it’s ‘clubfoot’. These are 2 of the Ndhzenga males!

Why were the females attacking the big guy
@private4918
@private4918 2 жыл бұрын
IF the males actually were the NAvocas--and I'm waiting for more confirmation here--it would be easy to understand. The Torchwoods have at least 1 pride male living, that we know of, and a pile of children from both pride males--1 of those believed not seen, or maybe once, in already months. On the other hand, when the 3 Kambulas attacked Nsuko (Birmingham) it could've been the genes of KT and Mr. T rearing their heads.

@private4918

Yes, the 1 that seems to have been attacked has a noticeable limp on the right rear leg. BUT that could be because the lionesses injured him there. We know Blondie has been limping on and off for a long time--or always limping in varying degrees. Try looking at this in slo-mo, see who the males look like.
