Closing all of my social media accounts, deleting the apps, and finally placing my SIM card into a flip phone catapulted me back to a distraction free, focused, and human reality. I’m free of the never-ending judgement, the countless opinions of ‘experts’, and endless attempts to separate me from my money. My mind is calm again; I can focus without the pull of the device/internet. I’m free.

I do watch most of my videos at 2x speed, but that is because I have a toddler. I am watching this while he is asleep. Once he wakes up, my attention is on him. I am behind on my videos and only get a chance to watch them when he is sleeping (and I do many chores or food prep during his naps). I think it is helpful to put your phone in your bedroom at a certain time. I make sure I get a weekly report from my phone to see how much time I spent on it. Last week I spent 22 minutes on average each day on my phone. Hopefully I can get it down to 10 minutes. I know it is hard, especially for those who were raised with smart phones (while I was raised without a computer until I was 16 - I am 41 now). Those raised without having screens all the time, know how to occupy our time more slowly without distraction. I watch all your videos completely and always enjoy them! THank you for the inspiration and insight.

Thank you for pointing out things that we commonly do without knowing. These habits of multitasking are making us tired leaving us behind with no great experiences to recollect later. Hello Sophie, I have been thinking the same thing, if we keep on going at this rate we will lose our ability to focus on the things that matter. It has been getting harder for me to focus on just reading anything that takes longer than 2 or 3 minutes. I’m constantly searching KZbin or Amazon, Ebay ect. The distractions are everywhere and in everything. I have been limiting my time I’m on the internet. I got rid of my t.v. along time ago because it was a distraction. I switch from the computer to the DVD player. I have the computer in another room. Then I found I can watch a movie without being on the computer. Since I started this routine I have been able to concentrate for longer periods of time and stay focused. I always have my phone on mute. My cell phone is strictly for if I need to go out or if I need to use it because my other phone is out of commission. Then to stop compulsive shopping I have stopped watching KZbin channels where they are constantly doing reviews on the latest Bibles, journals, books, technology ect. That way I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything and I’m more content with what I have. That is why I love your video’s and look forward to seeing more. You have such a peace and calmness that I hope will rub off on me. Lots of love to you! ❤️

😂 yes I watch videos sped up and read the comments whilst the video plays 😂 I also checked my phone today during a chat with one of my four daughters. First time I've ever found myself checking my phone and it felt SO impolite and disrespectful. I realized immediately that I need to stop that before it becomes a thing that I dont like.

Today I had a "date" with my 3-year-old son at a bakery and I had to use my smartphone to find out when we would be picked up. I apologized to my child for that. He: “Why the apology?”. "Because it's rude to be on your smartphone while you're hanging out and eating with someone." I value those moments with my loved ones ❤ I hope he will grow up with awareness

What happens to me a lot is that my thoughts start running in my head while I watch videos, so I have to go back and rewatch the parts I missed.
@Lanae81993 күн бұрын
I am temporarily living with my parents right now. My mother has an Alexa our kitchen. I noticed that as soon as I walk in the kitchen my eyes start to focus on the headlines or advertisements on the Alexa device. It distracts me from my own original thoughts, especially while I am home alone. My mind immediately starts thinking about what I am seeing on the Alexa screen. I decided to start covering the Alexa screen with a clean light cloth whenever my parents would be away for most of the day. Sometimes I forget to remove the cloth when they return home. I have a lot on my mind as it is. My Dad got really upset because I covered the Alexa screen, and cannot understand why I am distracted by it. He thinks it is foolish. I am trying to simplify my life and eliminate as many distractions as possible. I do not like being constantly bombarded with headlines and marketing to while I am at home by myself. I like to be more in control of my own thoughts. I am changing careers and going into Cybersecurity. Hopefully, I can find a Cybersecurity role soon that will afford me with the means to support myself again.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have,making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.

I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect.
