Beware guys... Salary മാത്രം നോക്കി ഷിപ്പിങ് ജോയിൻ ചെയ്യരുത്. You will suffer. If u have interest then its ok. ഇത്രേം salary chumma അരും തരില്ല. Lots of risks are there. If you want enjoyment with less salary go for bulk carrier. If u need more money go with tankers or gas carrier. പിന്നെ ഒരു tanker ship il പോകുക എന്നാൽ its not a joke. You are responsible for billion dollar worth cargo Good luck for your future endeavours

​Never ever go to Central government college for merchant navy courses . You will be jobless and your time and money will be wasted .Shipping Is a private job , Run by private players . Nowadays companies are having their own colleges who sponsor student and trains them , 1) Anglo eastern ( Indias best ) 2) Samudra 3) SCI 4)Great Eastern Ee paranjath companies and their colleges aanu.Ini pvt colleges with good placement scopes 1) Tolani 2) Ari Companies: MSc,Synergy,Fleet,Mol ,Torm, Maersk, Scorpio (First 3 are common). I did my cadetship from anglo eastern and Iam a third officer now.I know lots of friends who studied BSc or dns from Imu and became jobless or taken so much time to finish training.
