On Day 3 of Tourism Selangor's #TSBreakAway programme, all 12 Xplorers were given a free rein to travel around Selangor on their own to search for a story or two. I paid a visit to a few places in Shah Alam and subsequently decided to make "Malay traditional massage" as one of the topics that I'm going to cover.
For this purpose, I went to Alammi Spa ( / alammispa ) at Concorde Hotel in Shah Alam as it is one of the spas that offer Malay traditional massage on an à la carte basis rather than packaging it in Wedding Spa Package as is usually the case. Here's a short video on what Malay traditional massage is all about and how it differs and compares to Shiatsu massage & aromatherapy massage (2 of the more popular massages) as explained by the masseurs at the Spa.
