Old man is in loop, everytime he is trying to find what happened to child. Once he find it he realise evrything should burned. Then he forgots again, (he will not write down those becoz he doesnt want to hurt himself/family.)again search for what happened to child. Thats what the end. Again he visiting his friend to hear same thing

The movie also shows parallel to the three wise monkeys : Mute/ Don't Speak : Appu pillai (Dad) Doesn't tell anyone the secret of where is Chachu's dead body. Blind/ Don't See : Ajay (Son) Acts like he is blind to his dad's illness and didn't see what actually happened to Chachu that day. Dead/ Don't Hear : Aparna (Wife) Pretends that she didn't hear the whole story from Ajay. Good to know you enjoyed this movie ❤

I wept like a baby when he hugged his father from the back. Indian fathers are generally very strict and do not show any physical affection to their sons, due to reasons like societal norms of masculinity & to make them tough for the real world. There are lot of Malayalam cinema that has explored this father-son bond!!

The script was written by the cinematographer of the film, Bahul Ramesh. Probably that contributed to the subtility of the visuals, complementing the script. The gun on the monkey is a prop gun missing from a movie set. There is a mention in the film. It demands an involved watching. And the cultural context is important in understanding of the film. Can't blame you there. Really appreciate the effort you took in watching it, but there isn't a single scene in the film that wouldnt make sense to a Malayali audience.

The mom died of cancer, and the dad saw the body of the child so he thought he killed the child and forgt, so the dad hid the body and he forgot that and he investigated because he wnted to know if he killed the child ,but he finds out tht he was not the one who killed the child and it was either the mother or the father but he frgts it caz he didnt want to see his son as a bad person
