Good Quality Content. Love it. Bro in my humble opinion, please upgrade your switch to gigabit switch. Reason: Your current switch might create I/O bottlenecks at user level as it has less network bandwidth. Considering the amount of Data you are storing in a 4TB storage, 12MB/s RW speed is throttling your setup's performance which is caused by a 100Mbps Unmanaged Switch. In simple words, RW of a big file will take more time than expected due to bandwidth limitations. Synology DS220j has a Gigabit Ethernet Port which can give a speed upto 1GBps. If you are connecting it with a 100Mbps switch, U cannot make a use of the setup's potential completely.

Hi bro, liked your video. Just wondering if your switch will be a bottleneck to your whole setup. Mainly cuz your WD HDD supports about 180Mbits/s and you will be getting only 100Mbps max. Also, make sure you're using CAT6 ethernet cables after upgrading that switch.
