I completely agree with your idea that Malaysian Airlines cares for its passengers. I have flown Malaysian many times and not once have I not enjoyed the experience. I love Malaysian and they are my favorite airline. I also love KLIA and think it is the best airport in the world.

A very nice video of Malaysia Airlines. Everything is nice about Malaysia Airlines except for the old screen TV on the Boeing 777-200. I believe the two accident are not Malaysia Airlines fault. #prayforMH370 and #pray for MH17.

Im from Singapore and after i knew about MH370 and MH17 I thought MAS isnt a good airline . After seeing all your reviews about MAS , I realise how great MAS is . I will definitely have to try it one day . Thanks for your great review ;) !

Excellent service ! The cabin crew were very helpful & courteous. In fact they all were on flights MH 175, MH 139, MH136 & MH 194 which we were glad to travel on from Mumbai to Australia & back. Wishing you all a very happy, prosperous, and a blessed New Year 2019 & God's blessings in plenty.

My family and I returned from Adelaide via kuala lampur to Mumbai. At Kuala lampur one of your ground staff namely Ms. Azeida was very kind and helpful to us. On the 27th after a 5 hour wait at the KL terminal, the gate number changed and she walked with us to the gate from which MH 194 was scheduled to depart. God bless you Azeida. Wishing you a happy and blessed New Year. Hopefully shall meet you again in September this year. Warm wishes from my dad Claude, mum Doreen & brothers Neville & Franz.

Thank you Gavin for choosing MH despite the two unfortunate event of MH. Its so heartbreaking when you onboard any MH B772 flight thinking of those who lost their soul in MH370 & MH17. It looks like Malaysia Airlines lags behind its counterparts, ancient entertainment system, seats seem kinda shabby, dirty in-flight magazines not replaced by new ones. When I flew with them the in-flight magazine looked used and stained, didn't even want to touch it

I don't think that it is offensive, my deepest condolences to all involved in both Malaysian incidents, but I certainly check the safety record of Airlines prior to booking with them, I'm sure others do the same! Personally I wouldn't fly Malaysian at the moment, that's just my opinion I'm sure others would disagree, but that is my measured opinion, I don't think the original comment made was meant to be offensive or disrespectful at all.

Great report, Gavin! I must admit that MH's cabin product on their old aircrafts are saddening. They should refurbish their old cabin with a new one if they don't want to lose to their competitors.

Well MH is a little cash trapped at the moment and what you suggest is quite expensive...one can survive with the old decor for a time..worse is if its tattered,inflight entertainement isn t working etc..that was the state of THAI in the late 1980S..their old B747 were flying crap.

Yoel Febrian Yes especially their B744F...on their shorthaul B737S it doesn t matter as the flight time is short....inflight entertainment is getting more and more sophisticated and those chairs more and more expensive..I wonder if a group of say Indians or arab muslims flying for 4,5,6 hours are that interested in 400 channals or more??

Well..to change the cabin decor and newer and newer & newer IFE is very costly..MH isn t making a profit and not every carrier can t compete with EK or SIA all the time.

pbateson Thank you P, It is indeed very odd for 772s to operate with 2-5-2 configuration - the 5 would come in handy if the flight is empty so you can stretch out a whole row of 5 seats! I really like how Malaysia Airlines serve authentic (and delicious) Malaysian cuisine onboard - maybe you might agree with me, I find offering of the local cuisine a pivotal aspect of the airline experience! amps3 yeah, previously on my flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore on Japan Airlines, turbulence was so bad that the lady was screaming. But personally, I don't recall any incident where the turbulence was terrifying for me

C Travels Thank you so very much for watching my videos! For me, I choose my seating based on two factors: length of flight, and whether it is a day or night flight. If it's a purely night flight and over 4 hours long like this one, an aisle seat will be much more to my liking. I was flying to Addis Ababa! :)
