As usual the featured talents are all fair skinned even the Indian girl chosen is quite fair. One dark skinned Indian school girl featured and they think they’re being inclusive. Malaysian performing arts? I don’t see it all! It will also be weird when this video is using voiceover that doesn’t even sound Malaysian and at the end of the video you will hear the horrible announcements that the crew make and you can’t even make out what they are saying. Good effort showing off what kind of production we can produce but please invest in crew training first and foremost and other areas which need improvement.

I don't think CAAM will approve the video as it is. CAAM already having safety issues with FAA will have to be careful not to end up having to take blame in the event this video is contributory factor to injuries during incidents. Maybe the video producers and MAS did not consult safety experts before making this video version. MAS will end up paying much more in a likely video remake.

Exactly the same attitude of the previous senior management that brought down MAS. Another syok sendiri project just to spend and show. Not about business, not concerning P&L. If you are different, please sincerely justify: 1. How many manhours and how much it cost "rakyat money" to produce a (simple) onboard safety briefing? 2. Can you measure how successful it is bringing attention to the safety briefing? Is it better than the old NZ-LOTR? 3. If it is a part of commercial strategy, how much ROI is expected?

Agree that the video is more entertainment than safety orientated. You can have an entertainment theme but ensure that all safety events are clearly shown without passengers getting distracted. Hope the video is not contributory factor in the event of an evacuation or incident whereby injuries could have been avoided if passengers followed safety instructions correctly.

Many other airlines are doing similarly 'dynamic' safety vids. Qatar has a football-themed safety video, Korean air even features a whole Kpop group. MH is just keeping up with the trend.

The safety message needs to be communicated clearly. New Zealand Air does it perfectly. It's entertaining and yet the messages are clear.

I do agree with this statement, many people praise Virgin America's safety video for being cool, unique, and memorable. Yet MAS's gets quite some hate despite very much using the same formula as them.

This video with great musical compositions just blew my mind. Surely make me emotional whenever I listen to that Malaysian Traditional music. Good job composer and music arranger and music producer. Proud to be Malaysian. MAS just took briefing video to another level.

very creative, very nice. but too bad, it is way too long and takes too much time to reach the important points that needs to convey to the passengers, such as the steps of snap on the seatbelt and there is the location of the safety jacket. if taking flight to sg, means I watch this video, when finished, I drink 1 coffee, then pass the paper cup to the stewardess, I'll suddenly found that I already arrive changi airport. not even enough time to enjoy the inflight entertainment....

I cannot stop watching this safety video and have been doing do for hours. Im not sure why Singaporeans need to advertise that they come from Singapore. But “Singapore people” have this crass and annoying habit they need to wean themselves off. Just enjoy the video people.
