Later is China and Indonesia bullet train which is running very well and giving benefits to Indonesia. Next will be China and Malaysia high speed bullet trains . At present China helps to build ECRL trains starting from kuantan to trengganu up to kelantan and then straight across to port klang. Once these projects are completed it will be a new game changer for malaysia. 😊

No need High speed rail, just upgrade the existing railway lines into dual gauge tracks to allow standard gauge tilting trains to run 200 km/h while metre gauge trains can continue to operate . HSR is expensive investment, the objective is to develop the cities along the rail line, otherwise it is not very cost efficient. The China-Laos railroad is actually normal speed rail line but many have seems it like HSR. For Malaysia, actually our Low cost airlines surely will beat the HSR. Even the fare for Hang Zhou to Kuala Lumpur is cheaper than Hang Zhou to Canton Guang Zhou, the Chinese people will choose flight rather than HSR for travel time more than 3 hours.

ALL BS. He had destroyed public transport. For example, Melaka public buses are rotten to the core when locals and tourists cant even travel properly. The waiting time commonly can be up to more than 2 hours nation wide, even KL, Penang, JB at peak or non peak hours. Many areas has buses in the past but now no bus at all. He like to create many projects based on his own both pockets. He kept emphasized software projects and many other multi millions RM projects like a Melaka jam problem. The country politics are very shady and corrupted since before independence but worsen during DrM. They demolished the previous government that dont profit them, wasted multi millions and start their new own pocket money projects which you can see in every government changed. Malaysia usually has the ability to build our own rail road. China has cooperated with Malaysia to build a few long bridges. The problem of Malaysia is lack of high income investments rather than infra structure investment. Malaysia is very self control not to be spend too much at a time for infra structure spending.
