在台南看了BABI首映， 電影看到一半就開始流淚， 是一部三大種族 看了都會很有感的電影！ 故事的情緒 在我腦海迴盪了一整天。 NAMEWEE說故事的方式， 跟之前拍的電影（喜劇）完全不同， 這部片說故事的方式很棒。 再回來聽Happy family 單歌曲本身是很有魄力的， 很有層次的。 首映那天沒抽到簽名海報， 不然很想親口對NAMEWEE說， “孟加拉殺手”我也有到KL， 進戲院支持。 能夠看到BABI這麼棒的電影，真是太好了。

No doubt that Namewee has a habit of courting controversies, but in my humble opinion, deep down in his heart, he really loves the country of his birth. In one of his videos, you can see the Jalur Gemilang hanging prominently at his recording studio in Taiwan. When he did Ali Ah Kao & Muthu in 2017 for the nation's 60th Merdeka, the whole country applauded him & fell in love with the song. We could not get enough of the song & in fact it still sounds great & brings on the feel good feeling 3 years on. 3 years later, he is whacked left, right & center for producing a movie named after a swine. I doubt the outcry has do much to do with the movie title, but more to the graffitis on the movie poster, which no doubt is quite controversial to thr man on the street. But if you see beyond that, and after having seen the making of the movie & the superb sound track, Happy Family, the message that the movie is trying to convey is far from being unpatriotic or unwarranted racism. If he is unpatriotic, he would not have cared less to produce this movie which he already knew will be outright banned locally & would not make much money if screened overseas. Salute to Namewee.

It is so sad to see the racism in this country. I think I'm blessed being a Sabahan because I didn't see it here during my school days. May be there is but it's very little since we are get used to have different race and religion in one family. Mix race is normal here.
