Hi Elmo, this is one of the best episode! I always love Malaysia's Char Siu! Remembered we used to go to 同善路 (behind jalan Alor) for the 油桶炭火叉烧饭?We drove or walked all the way from Bates, always a long long lunch, hahaha! That's the Good Old Days of Advertising!

Thanks for all your recommendations, Elmo .. just been to Chan Meng Kee Restoran at Damen, USJ .. loved their Beef Brisket Noodle yums .. not sure the wanton is the fresh prawn wanton or not as there were minced meat in it .. as for the Char Siu Wanton noodle, it wasn't melting-in-the-mouth as expected , in fact, sides of the char siu were tough .. hmmm .. but glad the photos came out presentable .. thanks once again .. looking forward for more of your videos ..

Char Siu is everyone's favourite comfort. Its very easy to cook, and the cost is very cheap. Can use air fryer to cook in 20 to 30 mins. It can turn out just as tasty as the shops or even better.🤤 Thanks for sharing👍

Aiyah good reviews especially as I have tried all except Copper Mansion. My problem is I do not normally eat fat pork and most versions of "pun fai sau " is very fat. I tend to take slightly leaner and burnt. Looking forward to KL list- need you to compare the old favourite Wong Mei Kee of Jalan Nyonya/Pudu to those of PJ. Great work.. Keep it up.

My most favourite char siew is by Overseas Restaurant, all its branches. I ate the char siew from Imbi Road Overseas Restaurant which was so awesome. The right amount of fat, the crispy dark outer surface and the melt in the mouth sweet and savoury flavours is 5 stars!!! Have you tried it? You have not truly lived if you have not tried it. Village Roast Duck in Bangsar Shopping Complex has the best roast duck.

Hi Elmo, another mouth-watering video! It's very tempting since I haven't eaten charsiu in a long time. Please keep up the great work.
