I loved absolutely every interaction between Bugg and Tehol it was so light and funny but still managed to fit in with the rest of the series. I really enjoyed this book.

God this book is so good. Maybe it's finally time for reread # 11 lmao. I love how fucking stupid but realistic it is to have a war escalate due to seal hunting. And thematically it's so strong

I’m on my first reread of MBOTF and I’ve got to say I enjoyed Midnight Tides even less than the first time through. I feel like I’m missing something as everyone says it’s so good but I honestly preferred House of Chains, which seems to be considered the weaker book.
