I was publishing this unfinished piece and didn't think of it reaching out so far, only had the job and the moment when I'll finish it to share it publicly in mind. The Golden Throne was so power hungry, that only the Emperor and the Primarch Magnus who had turned traitor at the point. had the psychic might to properly operate the Golden Thronw. Previously, a few months at most the Emperor left the thrown to help repel an Daemonic blitzkrieg. One thousand normal human psychics were plugged in. They could only keep the thrown running for a few hours,before the Emperor had to return. When the Emperor left to confront Horus, once the favorite son-primarch now leader of the traitors. Malcador took over running the golden thrown, as the third most powerful psychic. The Emperor returned fatally wounded, returned and saw his oldest friend turn to ash.
