Almost 6 years from this unforgettable day, and it still never gets old. I hope Malcolm Butler is doing well now. Not sure why he left.
@afmartin27343 жыл бұрын
He wanted "#1 CB money", which he wasn't. He was a nickel CB and is now out of the league. BB told him what to do. They'd practiced it all week.
@barryaiello31272 жыл бұрын
@@afmartin2734 Any DB/CB would "know what to do", go get the damm ball, BB didn't need to instruct him, the thing is CAN you do it, the angle he had to take was severe and don't forget, had iust been swatted down SE just does what they should have done at the start and let Beastmode plow it in for the winning score.

No. It's been amazing watching Kraft use a 1st rd pick on BB for GM and COach and him drafting and developing Brady. And, he'll do it again with Mac Jones. Enjoy.

Even after the comeback against the Falcons this is by far my favorite Superbowl. It was just wire to wire great. Emotions constantly up and down, going sideways, yeah talk on both sides, two phenomenal quarterbacks add a classic Brady come back, all sealed with the pick heard round the world. To paraphrase Stefon from SNL, "This game had everything!"

25 carries total, 23 for positive yardage this game. Pats only allowed 6 rushing TDs all year though. Home run, maybe not, but also extremely low risk. Giving your most dominant offensive player the ball in a game where he has so far steamrolled the opposition, with two plays and a timeout left in your back pocket? That's a no-brainer to me.
