This is a classic series. It depicts, albeit extremely, the workings of a big government department in the UK. Malcolm Tucker is the Prime Ministers enforcer whose job it is to keep the department minister in charge in line with the P.M's priorities. It is based on what British people imagine low achieving government staff & the harsh way in operation behind the scenes. This is as opposed to the media friendly & polite public facing political discourse. Well worth a try as you'll see the context of the rants which amplifies the humour.

Filmed like a sort of documentary (like the original Office series) about a poor performing Government department. Malcom Tucker is the Government's chief spin doctor and Head of communications, based on Tony Blair's right hand man (Alexander Campbell). The best satire, amd written by Armamd Annuci who afterwards went to Hollywood and wrote the series 'VEEP' about the vice president, staring Julia Dreyfus
