@@cedhtvgameplay3974 Snuske on "aggro" is just a wonderful thing. He is way more into detailing his thoughtprocess than in the RokSi games, which I personally find to be more enjoyable. I would really love to see him go ham with a Najeela list or some BloodPod variation :D

In the past two months, I have frequently played the Dargo Tymna deck and encountered similar situations several times. I greatly admire Pontus's emotional management

Honestly i think the meta is very bad for dardu right now. Maybe time to shelf it for a little bit bring it back when the meta shifts again

Yeah I also admire Pontus as a player and have learned a lot from watching him. I also feel like, while I still learn "magic" lessons, most of what I've been learning playing this game recently are human lessons.

Naw Dargo is still really good. Personally i think sidar is a better partner. He doesnt do anything for the deck but the colors are great ​@HebrewHercules

Snuske did a wonderful job describing the angle at which you have to approach board state evaluation as a Winota player which heavily determines how you play the deck, which I think is in large part, the reason it carries such poor results in a tournament setting. Being fairly linear means newer players pick it up, think they understand it and fail when not being able to assess the gamestate which in turn perpetuates this cycle of thinking Winota is outdated for the current meta. Definitely not the case. Sorry for the long comment, I'm a passionate Winota player and have had the same thoughts Snuske has had and it was very validating to hear it from someone else.

Thank you for the kind words (: And i do agree ^^ Winota is so much harder to pilot well then people think. I never recommend the deck to newer players since you need an understanding of the meta and what your opponents decks are bringing to the table to even have a chance to stay on top (:

I feel like dargo was wrong in attacking the master multiplier, i wouldve force the other two opponents to kill him while sneaking damage with dargo at the winota player, i think people really downplay dargos ability to take players off the board in the grindy games

21:43 - playing enlighted tutor by Tymna guy - but the Winota guy forgot to draw a card and get 1hp more from the hafling on the table under hes control and enlighted tutor cost 1 grey mana more from that human cleric that slower the nonecreatures spells. Yout oponnents should tell you that there is a trigger on stack but they remain silent ^^ What is a cedh game without fairplay? :)

I would really like to hear more from pontus on why he opted for the sacrifice on tymma line, resolving the altar with no Mana as opposed to floating 4 black seems so much worse, is having d swat online really that strong?

@@cedhtvgameplay3974 yes I mean why does he prefer draw 7 with no Mana but having d swat instead of drawing 7 floating 4 black by sacing tymma to dargo and using sacrifice on dargo for more mana. Im learning the deck right now and it seems like a bad move to me so I'd love to hear his thoughts on why he prefers d swat protection to floating 4

I don't remeber but I think he coulden't do that for some mana reasons.

@@samc4351 One of the reasons would probably be the density of fast mana. Tymna+Dargo is very fast. If he can use the Swat to protect Dargo, his next move will be decreased in options but more resilient to potential answers. A fresh grip with almost no downsides compared to trading his entire board to uncertainty and perhaps useless floating mana - pick what you might rather want. My guess would be a setup for later turns as the Oppo hurt his turn 2 wheel plan quite badly. The board was staxed out pretty decently, moving into a slightly longer game. Curious to hear Pontus on this though, since he is a longtime pilot of the deck and this instance could pop up more than once.

Where are you, spite play lookouts? Where is your shrieking in the comments section? An objectively useless block that kills a game-winning piece? The very _definition_ of a spite play? Crickets. Nothing to see here. But risky Hail Mary plays in which the player directly explains to you his strategy, whether based on card probability or psychological manipulation, and you're foaming at the mouth. "Spite play! Spite play! Grab your torch and pitchfork!" Is this how the gentry feel about peasants? Because I'm beginning to understand their position.

The whole term spite play is just very outdated and mostly used to bully poeple out of making legal plays. Killing poeple has to have a cost "I have lethal you can't block" is just absurd logic
