I come at this from the politics side of things, and I have only seen the 3 "political" streams, that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been part of. Toast was also in those 3, and he to me seems to "cool, calm and collected" in all of them. Of course people can and WILL behave differently, depending on the situation they are in. With a Member of Congress there, they WILL "behave". Just like XQC did, when HE was in a stream with Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I have read comments about XQC, and he behaved nothing like that in that specific stream. Not that hard to understand, really.

You guys must have a strange relationship with your politicians, if this is so hard to imagine. I am from Denmark and from an older generation ( born 1955), and I can tell you, that it has always been a normal thing, that politicians participate in various sportsgames at the local ballpark etc. For the fun of it, but obviously also to connect to their voterbase. This is the same thing, but on a different more modern platform. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reaches far more people this way, than most of the older politicians do. And they do not like that!!

As someone, who come at this from the politics side of things, and from a much older generation!!!, I Will have to say, that the main reason they "behave" differently in a stream like this, is the simple fact, that they are in a stream with a Member of Congress!?!! I remember watching a longer version of the first Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stream from 2020. There was a few minutes, where the streamers were among(!) themselves BEFORE Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez entered the stream. They screamed and shouted at eachother ( in a "friendly" way ) BUT the moment Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez entered the stream, they toned in down 700%, and "behaved" very diffrently the whole rest of the stream! Entertaining, but "different"!

Love these. While I'm on a different point on the political spectrum than Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, both times she (and Congresswoman Omar on the Among Us one) has done this, it's just jumped her several points in my book. Not because "politicians should play more video games", but because it's so refreshing to see politicians outside of the "POLITICS POLITICS ALL THE TIME POLITICS" bubble. It's so important to remember that everyone is human and that we have things in common.
