Male and female Tree Swallows bring nest feathers.

Tree Swallow nests are typically lined with feathers, especially white ones. Both male and female bring the feathers but males usually bring most. These feathers are believed to help conserve heat in the nest.

Thanks for sharing , I have a pair of tree swallows in one of our bluebird boxes . She was sitting on the eggs this morning so I don’t know how many eggs there are
