Her voice. It's like michael jackson songs. Nobody can sing like him, because of his voice. Taeyeon's voice sounds like fairy bell. Like Alice Cullen's voice supposed to be. This team is smart. First, they didn't choose a mainstream song but rather chose a song that is less known (although UR is one of Taeng's top charting song from her debut solo album). They chose a song aside from the main song which made it seem it's their own song and in result, their vocal talent shine thru. The focus shifted on their own singing. Second, the team is well balanced. They didn't depend on one member to carry the song but rather each and everyone contributed and has his own moment.

actually the UR is not less known song.. in fact it was a popular song esp among idol. the reason why they didn't cover it because it was a hard song. so far only powerful vocalist have cover this song, sejeong and yeonjung but even so they didn't sing the bridge (?) the hardest part of the song.

This song is like a forbidden song in Kpop. A lot of idols/singers may or can sing all of these never ending high notes but no one can pull off the emotions like taeyeon did. As a taeyeon's longtime fan, i can assure u that no one literally no one come close to taeyeon in the way she puts emotions in her songs. But these boys did a good job.

I just listened to taeyeon ur and try to find the live version because i remember taeyeon record it in just one take. I though if this song will be sung with a girl group in survival show, the whole grup need to be really good vocalist. Because the bridge really high and it never ending. The main vocalist must really be greedy to have all the high note. And someone that doesn't that good vocalist will surely have a hard time and a little part. But here i am watching a male group sang ur and none of them too greedy or bad. They are just amazing.

i think yellow team got the advantage of several team members being eliminated? having smaller number of members helps they way they rearranged this song shines. everyone got their own part/"moment" while still showing off their harmony as team. ((its the opposite of green team where the arrangement put more weight on harmonization so having less members put them in disadvantage))

siikky when i'm talking about advantages, its related to the match and how U R team wins over Miracles in December team. like i said, the rearrangement yellow team did for U R sounds better with less members while the rearrangement green team did for Miracles in December sounds better with more people. BOTH team feels the damage from elimination, BOTH team needs to redo some of the work they've done because they're both losing members. but, the base/early work U R team did with song rearrangement, works better with less team members so it did them good and they got the first place in the end.

looking at comments here compared to comments of some other covers on the show really show that really popular groups/idols always have the most annoying/rude/embarassing fans. really made me respect idols whose fans are secure enough to be able to appreciate the covers or at least not flood the comment section just to praise their own idol. well, naturally good idols somehow have good/classy fans too. honestly this perf is great and made me respect these guys. i rooted for them for the vocal battle and i'm glad both male and female teams i rooted for won at least for vocal battle. never heard the original song n after seeing the comments in here, instead of wanting to check out the original because of all the fans praises, eh...it only made me not want to check out the original, and i won't be missing out much anyway. i like this perf because of the performance anyway, love the harmonies and i always prefer underdogs. both this team n Jackpot team were the underdogs sort of for this round. but for the Jackpot perf, the nice n appreciative commnts from the original singer's fans made me feel it's worth my time to check out the original even though normally i don't consider Block B as my style of music but yknow, good fandoms can do wonders, so does bad ones.
