I really like how Angelina seems to prioritize access. It's true that not everyone can access/afford art and that's part of why people download illegally. I like that she, as an artist, is mindful of the main purpose of any film: it's to be enjoyed and shared by as many people as possible. The industry side is more about profits, sadly.

I saw this film last night with my daughter. We both loved it! She is 16 and has always loved the classic Disney films. This movie does not disappoint at any level. I especially loved the concept that the kiss that awakens Aurora is one of "motherly" love, not the sappy romantic love that was in the original. I like this version much better.

Joe Purdue I'm VERY picky about songs...can't even describe how or why, but if I like a song, I like it--and I love every song in that movie. I still sing along to them. I love movies like that that are adult-ish in nature, so that it's a movie that you can keep watching as you get older, and understand better the intricacies of the human nature. When I was little, I just thought Frollo was mean. I didn't know he wanted Esmeralda, or why he was so tortured. It would definitely be interesting to see a movie based from Esmeralda's point of view.

Growing up, i was never much of a fan of Angelina, but I've enjoyed watching her in any movies of hers that I've watched... but i must say, her potrayal as maleficent totally made me fall in love... it was perfectly spot on... and after watching this interview, i became even more impressed... I'd like to say one thing... i am appalled by so many negative comments on elle... she seems like such a sweet girl and u can even see how much Angelina adores her... why is it u all hate her so much? comments like "not pretty enough" / "can't act" is uncalled for... sounds like pure jealousy to me One more thing... why do so many of u need to compare this maleficent to the original sleeping beauty? can't u accept this as a work of art on its own? lastly, for those who haven't yet watched it, do so.... it is brilliant indeed Thumbs up to the whole crew A job Well done!!!
