This song just reminds me of my step-dad. The lyrics "I hate everything about you, why do I still love you" exactly represents the situation I'm in, he is currently in a rehab center after we found out he was doing 6 different drugs, and I will probably never see him again, I can't just let someone go that I have trusted and known for 8 years of my life go. I hate him so so so much, but I still somewhat miss him and want to get the chance to say goodbye. Even after he has abused everyone in my family, emotionally and physically, I want to at-least give him a last goodbye, farewell, even if it is just a small little hand-wave. It's just so hard. I loved him, trusted him, even after the abuse because I just thought it was normal, and now realizing that it wasn't normal is making me realize how much I hate him, and wouldn't care if he got hit by a car and died, but I still love him.
