The three main psychological principles adopted by Uber are apt for the user experience. I love it. - Idleness Aversion - Operational transparency, and - Goal-Gradient effect

Yes, but it's best to avoid laws of ux style talk, as it complicates things (the language) - my main goal is to simplify so even non-uxers can understand :)

Exactly as you say. The best thing to do is to analyze the applications you use every day yourself and ask yourself questions. Because someone has spent time on each solution and from something comes such a design decision 🙌🚕 have a beautiful day ! ☀️

Sometimes you can find some really cool things, and sometimes even mistakes done by teams of 1000 designers, it's all a process and that's what's fun about design - it can surprise us still

I was thinking in similar terms but it happens a little too fast for you to see it too clearly, so it's likely just "buying time"

I have always searched KZbin for a tutorial on how to design Uber cars in figma and I have never found it. It would be interesting a video explaining how to do it and making a prototype in Figma of them moving around a map. Could you do something like that?

Amazing video series. I have one thing to say. I don't know if this is important but it seems like you did not edit the actual vehicle number at 5:23?

It'll be more helpful if you review an app that has Ui & Ux faults, and tell why it is faulty. It'll be better for us to learn Ui Ux.
@MalewiczHype Жыл бұрын
I'll do those sometimes too, but I think looking at something well done and telling WHY it's well done can also help with learning :)

Im doing the ui in mobile apps course from you. The course is good but I really wished there was forum to discuss doubts. like in this course number 4. design with constraints the example is given on an iPhone 12. So i wonder if the same dimensions of the nav bar and notification bar stays the same or not...

why do you think they have 2 skeleton loader? is it just to give time for the app to load or does it switch from a normal screen to more personalised version?
@MalewiczHype Жыл бұрын
Possibly because they're not 100% sure which kind of user are you and want to cater to as many scenarios as possible, but it could've been easily solved another way.
