This is RASTAMAN JAH SHAKA I have so much respect for him. He is an Ancestor now but I will call on him all of the time. A lot of people say "Rest in peace!" I do not. I don't want our Ancestors to rest. I want them to continue to work for us. Marcus Garvey said "Look for me in the whirlwind or the storm." That works for me. I believe that the Ancestors want us to call on them. A lot of us just repeat what we have heard and continue to do and say things out of habit and eurocentric tradition. I believe that our Ancestors do not want to be forgotten. So I never say rest in peace. I believe in the spirit world and I believe that they have the power to intervene for us AFRIKAN BLOOD PEOPLE . R.I.P. Jah Shaka. To ALL Roots lovers around the world.. Shaka has been a great Spiritual Leader and a Sound Man for over 50 years. I first saw him in the early 80's which changed my life forever!. He WILL be greatly missed. Love always.😪❤🧡💚🙏

I was there on this special night. Shaka did DJ one more session after this, on somebody else's system, in Paris in April 2023, but this session here was the very last time Shaka played on his own system. Nothing compares to the Jah Shaka Sound System.

Thanks to Rockers Almighty for the upliftment, can't get to too much dance these days, so a video like this is a joy to behold - sounds like Shaka was playing in fine style as always.
