OK, so I'm Koa's dad's age or so it may be hard to relate but I grew up in San Diego, surfed heavily in the 70's. I rode one of the original Steve Liss fishes (first twin fins ever), hung with the Willis Brothers and inspired the Nucleus logo with my then bro' Barry. After 40 years I got nothin' to do, housebound during COVID and I find This Is Livin to be so cool. The whole North Shore Crew are living the life I wish I coulda. Being a Merchant Marine was not a conducive to surfing as I had hoped but you guys got it. OUTSTANDING. What a cool kid.

I once was what you described but unable to surf any more. Not even small surf, a bad injury which rules me out. No matter what I rode shortys to logs I always tried to make everyone calm the feck down if there was tension. LoL I am not a small guy nor fat, so it worked. I don't want to surf with bad vibes defeats the purpose hey. Have fun dude take care.
