Indeed he was a great leader and Muslim as well, a brave and just president the like of whom the Gambia will never see. He loves the country and its people, he established peace and security in the country, there was great safety and protection for the citizens everywhere at every time in this country. He protected the religion of the people from division and sectarianism, he eradicated the Ahmadis and denounced their faith. The Christians as well were given their utmost right Bd safety in the country, they practiced their religion with freedom and he used to support during their annual festivals as the president of the country. Women are children were his priority, empowering them and supporting them with regards to health and social welfare, free education for every citizen within the country, and his support towards students all over the country every year is undeniable. He really improved the country’s development standards to a greater level, he was very strict when it comes to corruption within the government, fraud, forgery and embezzlement; for this reason he had to set exemplary punishment on a good number of them in order that there should be justice and fairness. He will sack others from their positions, persecute those whose crimes were greater and so on. The privilege that the Gambian citizens enjoyed during his reign cannot be over emphasised, during every tour of his, he distribute money and biscuits throughout his journey, the citizens elders and children, men and women, civilians and officers, everyone come out to escort him and cheer for him. No child will be born in this country except that the first jubilating song he will know is to sing “Yahyaa Jammeh.” No doubt, he is human and he is not free from imperfection and vulnerabilities, Gambians can never accuse him of anything bad other killing people. But the fact that his outward appearance of promoting Islam and the shari’ah, while surrounding himself with Islamic scholars, that is sufficient for us to believe that he might not be directly involved in the death of some of them as he is accused of. And even those killings that he might be directly involved in, they must be based on his judgement which he might get right or wrong sometimes. That is inevitable from human leadership, errors might be committed and they can be so terrible sometimes, human conscience should accept that a human being cannot ruled for 22 good years without committing mistakes and falling into wrong judgements and invalid conclusions. But for sure, a good number of those that he might have killed must have been certain killed on correct grounds even though the manner of their killing might not the best. But in any case, no family will accept that our brother, father or uncle has been killed by the government on correct grounds, even if he was killed due to corruption, embezzlement, fraud in the government, and more especially, plots, conspiracy and coup attempts. Yet, they will still claim that their relative was unjustly killed or murdered; but in any case, these are inevitable differences that cannot be avoided. Allah shall judge between the people on the Day of judgement regarding that wherein they used to differ in this world. But truth be told, his errors should not make us disregard all the goodness he has established in this country. The religion of the people that was preserved and nation’s worldwide’s recognition as the “Smiling Coast of Africa.” But the reality is, no government is free of dark art behind the scenes, for a leaders power a worth is not known except through exemplary punishment and strong security measures. Based on that, we ask Allah to protect, preserve and honour him for his great service for the Gambian people. We ask Allah to reward him immensely and forgive and have mercy upon the victims, as fir their families, we ask Allah to enable them to be patient and maw better their solace and grant them something better than what they lost. And Allah is the best to be asked.

@@francescaariosto9036 I'm honestly not offended my brother, we all love jammeh, but as a honest person I do know all these allegations can't be a mare accusations, jammeh may not know about all the wickedness and cruelty that happened in Gambia, but he is aware of some. With my integrity and decency I can't turn a blind eye on such things, everyone have their opinions but saying certain things is equals to making a mockery of the victims and their families.
