... a funny, weird, very strange thing happened to me when I was just 4yrs old. I could have drowned, but I didn't... I had walked off a boat ramp, suddenly plunging into an overhead depth of immergence into the sea. Initial shock and panic made me breath out, but after a few coughs and splutters, all the air had been expelled, and, almost effortlessly, I found myself breathing water. I suppose, because I didn't know any better at such a young age, it sort of felt natural and safe for me to do this. And no sooner than I began to explore this new experiance, I was found by my uncle, who hooked his arm around my neck, and then flung me into his boat, where I leaned overboard and heaved out all the water, I coughed and spluttered a couple of times, and was back to normal, breathing air again, with no ill affects... That was 64yrs ago, and I remember it fresh, as though it just happened a moment ago 🤗

This same exact thing happened to me. Not at the ocean, but at a small lake. Same exact experience. I remember opening my eyes under water (not salt water) and seeing everything floating, and then breathing water. I think when you drown you breathe water. Right when this began, my mother saw my hair floating in the water and reached down and scooped me up.
