MvP was definetly Paul, the last student of Shenlong surviving. He did great job pushing people around and trying his absolute best considering he brought a broom to a sword fight! Felt a bit bad to see him turn into scrap. Great battle report overall, thanks to your games you really made me start playing Malifaux again :)

2 of my masters!!! This was so much fun to watch. MVP for me is who always seems to be my MVP too, Wandering River Monks, get so much done and so fun to play imagining them running and leaping over everything! Hope you are coping well with fatherhood!

Fantastic and fun game. I'd say the MVP for the monks was Chip and Dale, the wandering river monks. Both did fantastically well and their movement shenanigans surprised me. Viks MVP would be the Hodgepodge emmisary - that companion upgrade onto Vanessa was a power move and then they kept her alive with their healing pulse, which felt like a game changer by the end.

Emissary vs emissary, looks like a good match since both crews love to do melee. Shenlong vs viktoria was odd, used a trigger to change styles but didn't win the duel.

Heard about this game in an article and decided to check it out. I’ve played a bit of Warhammer and I can see some similarities, but I was definitely lost throughout most of this haha. Seems like a fun game for sure though

MVP was definitely those Wandering River Monks, they can scheme with the best of them and the added flexibility of a Leap with Chi really paid off this game. Was neat to see Shenlong make use of most of his styles throughout the game, thanks for that!

Hi guys! Love your batreps and they convinced me to get started with Malifaux! Question though: at the start of turn two it looks like a soulstone is spent to activate Vanessa immediately after the emissary - I just read the core rulebook and can't seem to find that. Am I missing something? Thanks!
