So if he's loyal to Titania, what happens when they face off? How would you explain that in a game? I wouldn't normally care because it's a hit or miss thing you'd run into at an event, but one of my regular play group guys is running Titania.

Yes, the ice pillars are not side specific. All the abilities refer to "Ice Pillars" not "Ice Pillars you created"
