...too much a leap of faith to practically ignore the hadith over practice of Medinians IMO.🤔
@alenezi989a35 ай бұрын
How is that a leap? Madina is where the prophet and Sahaba spent their entire lives, these people had their fathers or grand fathers from the Sahaba, it's a leap to bring a hadeeth were none of these people have heard of, or a sunna the literal children and grand children of Sahaba never heard of. Did the Sahaba not teach their children or crand children?

I'm hanafi but I find Maliki madhab to be pure and more authentic to the salaf. The hanafi madhab has been made too liberal in most of the southeast Asian Muslim countries and have mixed cultures and traditions in it. All 4 madhab are good and accepted, I'm just basing my opinion on the Maliki madhab. Hopefully it clears things up. Jazakallah khair
@abdulwakil26135 ай бұрын
The hanafi madhab hasn’t been “made liberal”. It’s just that it’s the most practiced madhab in southeast asia and it’s a shame the muslims of southeast asia are the way they are. Has nothing to do with the hanafi madhab itself. In fact the subcontinent scholars are way more strict than syrian or turkish hanafi scholars
@mikhan51915 ай бұрын
@videogames is confused! Those CULTURES don't practice Hanafi Madhab.
@tahamuhammad18145 ай бұрын
Bro Hanafi madhhab also takes into account Amal into account just like Maliki madhhab. But Abu Hanifah travelled a lot to gain Ilm. He studied under great scholars in Makkah, Madinah, Basrah and Kufa (the last two cities were founded by Umar (RA) so they included a large number of Sahabah specially Kufah because of the caliphate of Ali (RA)). So he took into account the amal of these people in general. He didn't limit it to Madinah like Imam Malik.

The flaw with relying on the Amal of Ahl al-Madinah is that Malik came over 100 years after the Prophet(pbuh&f), which is a long time for corruptions to occur. We see from the Christians that it only took around 50 years for their religion to change from pure Islam to a watered-down version of Roman paganism (but with a kind of monotheistic bent). ONLY 50 years or less! Let alone we have multiple Sahaba (such as Abu Hurayrah, Abu al-Dardaa, 'Imraan bin HuSayn, etc) complaining about basically everything being changed from the time of the Prophet(pbuh&f) (and Abu al-Dardaa' died in the time of 'Uthman!). So we can't just assume that the people of Madinah preserved the Sunnah when MAJOR fitan occurred in the roughly century between the time of the Prophet(pbuh&f) and Malik and Sahaba are telling us that they dont recognize almost anything from the time of the Prophet(pbuh&f). Nor does this mean that we can fully rely on the 'Ilm al-Rijal system so obsessively used by the later madhaahib (esp Hanbalis) because as Abu Hanifah and Malik rightly perceived, there are hadiths whose chains may be good but simply go against reality. So a more holistic approach needs to be taken and I believe Malik had the right intention by looking at the 'Amal of Ahl al-Madinah however for reasons stated above I do not believe it is as solid as one would think.
@هدى-م2ل4 ай бұрын
If you think amal of ahl al madina isn't reliable because you think 50 years is enough for corruption to occur like what happened with Christians (let alone your analogy is false) then why do you think the hadith is reliable although it's way less known than the Amal of ahl al madinah????
@هدى-م2ل4 ай бұрын
Plus we aren't looking to have the eyes and knowledge of God and we aren't supposed to, we as humans are supposed to take the strongest arguments possible and that's it and Amal ahl almadinah is as strong and solid as one might think
@Asrarulhaq2011Ай бұрын
Amal ahlal madinah doesn't mean you see the Tom Dick and Harry doing something and that is amal. Amal relates to what the mujtahidun were doing. Those mujtahidun were those who knew the sunnah... You could say at least having 100,000 hadith at the forefront of the mind and the context of the ahadith. Listen and understand the video
