@@KaIsko-l7o Marvin graduated with an electrical engineering diploma in Centennial. This could have opened a lot of doors for Marvin since electricians are tradesmen and in demand. He could have easily landed an LMIA. While Krystal isn't doing anything to upskill herself - she isn't practicing English (to gain a high score on her CELPIP, which she will be required to do), not studying for her driving learner's permit, not integrating to Canadian society. She is solely reliant on Marvin, so I can see how things can get scary when you're really reliant on one person. Don't get me wrong - I want and wish for them to get their PR, but in order to have my empathy for their situation, they need to be integrating into Canadian society. I would also be extremely scared if I wasn't doing anything to improve my personal situation and all these things are happening. The original commenter is correct though about getting things quickly. I had to live in a basement apartment for many years, so I could have saved up for a downpayment for my first property. She is constantly comparing herself to others - you hear her talking about it all the time in all her videos where "this person said this", "this person told me that."

@@Thejazzerc We cannot judge them for their decision to move to another province, I’m sure they carefully considered their options. Taking a chance for a better future shows courage and determination, which is far more fulfilling than simply waiting for opportunities to come. Furthermore, they are employed by companies that would support them, which is a strong foundation for their decision. And if Krystal were entirely dependent on Marvin, they wouldn’t be living separately. This suggests that Krystal also secured a company willing to support her, which is commendable. Just saying :)

@KaIsko-l7o oh don't get wrong, I'm not judging, and I am sure they considered their options to get their PR, and I do hope they do. The funny thing about publicizing your life almost on the daily is that you get to follow their journey. I'm thoroughly invested in this journey, and I can also say that there are missing parts to Krystal's side where she isn't doing what she needs to do to integrate into Canadian society. For example, English is barely spoken bc she just chooses to engage with Filipinos only. The only person who I see that has an upward curve is Marvin and Krystal has not upskilled at all since arriving to Canada. I'm assuming that is why there is a lack of empathy towards her in these comments.

More click bait titles. I am assuming this was titled this way bc there is no real content as posted in the video. I can see that there is already a lot of negative comments posting. Krystal, you need to stop talking to the camera in your room and post actual content of day-to-day to maintain relevance of daily life in Canada. This is what all the other bloggers are doing. You can see their view counts are very high and subscribers keep increasing while yours is lower and lower every post. Just providing some constructive feedback based on your issues with "negative comments" you are recieving and complaining about.

@@kchng7652 me too. I actually really liked the content of when they were new here in Canada. There is so much potential for the blog, but she is doubling down on behaviours Canadians don't like to see in public. For example, she is not practicing her English (you can see this in other videos where she fully ignores the other girl in the car who doesn't speak English), she only does things with other Filipinos, speaking in Tagalog essentially all the time. She's not studying for her car exam, only talking about it. It's kind of sad to see because this is how people end up in poverty in Canada when you're not doing regularly upskilling. She is going to rely on the coat tails of Marvin and if Marvin ends up leaving, she will not be in a good position. I'm still hoping for the best for her and Marvin and that they do get the PR they have been longing for.

I think their problem, if you can call it that is they “listen” too much to “other people”. Sabi ni Ate or Kuya. It is a good thing but their experience and situation is most probably not the same as yours. Sit down together 1 time and take a stock of things. And get over - ang lamig, ang kapal ng snow…you should have thought before picking Canada na me winter and snow/can be harsh. Malamig but what can you do or get to battle the cold. It is your $ but maybe stop buying mga little things. It is not a good feeling to be deprived but….a good idea to be minimalist until you know your fate in that country and in that province/city/town. I wish i thought of this when i was new to a place I moved to. Mahirap mag lipat. Pag ayaw mo mapuna, wag mo na ipakita. Masakit masabihan ng hindi papuri or ayon sa paniniwala mo but remember - you can only control what you show/say. Can’t control other people’s thoughts/actions/feelings. di kailangan patulan ang lahat. Best revenge is a good life. And life may not be where you are right now. Best of luck.
