Great edited video. Showing many aspects of some of the challenges to get ready for race day. Dealing with regular routines. Overcoming impossible setbacks or finding manageable compromises. 6 month long extreme team and research event over 7 legs. Excellent idea to include in harbor events and scenery. Learnt about the importance of in port racing. Initial win.

It’s nice to see you focus on the whole team rather than just the skipper and crew. Great film. Question on people's roles: why is everybody a 'co-skipper'?

One person is the (main) skipper who has the main responsibilty for the boat, the others are co-skippers.

One of my happiest moments with regards to the whole round-the-world race was when they made it so the boat quit screaming at them. Endless noise is psychological warfare tactic. And I am glad they won that war. I am still avidly curious how they managed that. The foil design team may have to file some patent applications, because noise is vibration, and vibration is wear, not just on the team but on the structure of the entire boat. PS I noticed Holcim's boat still screaming like a drunk opera ghost at them. :(

Herrmann geht es anscheinend weder primär um Sport, noch primär ums Segeln, sondern das wird augenscheinlich lediglich als Zweck für seine marketing-Phantasien mit Unterstützung von den Unternehmern, die achtern auf der Bordwand lesbar sind, genutzt und eigentlich auch missbraucht. Jeder Auftritt der crew ähnelt einer Oscar-Verleihung. Von den 5 IMOCA-Yachten sind nur die ersten 4 modernster Bauart, Herrmann liegt hinter dieser Pillepalle-Etappe auf pos 3 von 4 Gleichwertigen, aber dennoch "Hollywood". Wer am Segeln interessiert ist und Herrmann bei der letzten Vendee Globe begleitet hat, versteht, was gemeint ist. Vorliegend steht Selbstverherrlichung im Vordergrund.
