I would just like to share a mall goth tip since the girl in the red hoodie used eyeliner: if you have ✨any black eyeshadow✨ and ✨literally ANY stick lipstick or a sticky/tacky textured lip palette or lip balm✨ you can have black lipstick. Start with your liner and then your lipstick base, add the eyeshadow (I use my fingers because you can get a more concentrated pigment than using a brush) and keep stacking. It can feel a bit heavy but it stays ridiculously well. Lip balm is also less flakey than lip stick in my experience.

Well, no... the products with no reviews or orders are sketchy, like they would be for any other site (yesstyle for example even tho its a trusted site too). The site isn't sketchy at all and i've ordered hundreds of dollars worth of products from sellers that i see have photo reviews, you also are able to track ur products. ur very risky to order something without reviews. but in conclusion you're very mistaken; aliexpress is a gold mine for all alt (esp japanese inspired) fashion as long as you're not being stupid aka ordering items without reviews.

2:08 if anyone who’s alt could help me, I have a question. I know I’m some type of alt based on my music taste, values and style, but I’m not sure exactly which. I kind of just “vibed” with what I am but I’m super interested in learning about the different sub groups to know which one I actually belong in. Whenever I search on google it seems to show similar results for each type as if they don’t recognize the differences (some photos appeared multiple times for different types). I am not really alt but of course you can blend your style! life is too short to stick to one specific style. you can be grunge and mall goth as long as it makes you happy. i would recommend recreating outfits that inspire you and test out what you feel comfortable with 💗

You can either be a mix, or choose based on what music you predominantly listen to. I listen to goth, industrial, metal, grunge, emo,punk, and pretty much every other genre, but goth and industrial resonate the most with me so I consider myself goth. Just research all the different subcultures and listen to the music for each one one and you'll find your way

Alternative fashion has nothing to do with money! Most styles were created out of poverty but big corporations are tryibg to capitalize on that. I would suggest thrift shopping and DIY! the easiest and cheapest DIY is to just buy safety pins and alter your clothes with them. There are many punk, grunge, emo and all sorts of goth DIY tutorials for clothing on youtube and around the internet! Just look for " **fashion/aesthetic name** clothing diy" or "alt clothing diy". Most DIYs can be made under 5$!!! Good luck ❤
