Hey John, I haven't actually made a video purely about Arenal nightlife, but I did end up there early last summer in a live stream along the Playa de Palma, and revellers were dancing in the streets before it got dark. And they weren't young either! I thought this area was really good fun. A much worse picture is painted in the press for sure!

It is! I think it got such a bad rap in the press, but really the resort is just a lot of people out having a good night. The council needs to put more bins out though I think!

Unfortunately, most British people unfairly form a negative perception of instrinsically interesting and beautiful places like Majorca, Tenerife and the Spanish Costas on the excessive drinking, partying and sometimes anti social behaviour by mostly British tourists in small parts of notorious places such as Magaluf, Benidorm , Torremolinos and Veronicas etc. Furthermore, European people then unfairly associate such behaviour as being typically British .

No! The Playa de Palma is the beach resort near the airport (so incorporating the beach areas of Can Pastilla and El Arenal).

We stayed in Playa de Palma before covid nonsense. Hotel was amazing probably the best I've stayed in. April time and a little cool. As for the resort it was the worst holiday I've had. Would never go back. Looky looky men everywhere. And it was quieter than this by a long shot but still didn't enjoy it.
