i feel like terrance is mentally comparing how he will be as a parent to the high pedestal he puts terrell on when it comes to parenting. i think that might be why he gets so defensive every time terrell comments on his upcoming parenthood in an “i’ve done this before” way. he’s projecting how he feels about his upcoming parenthood onto terrell which makes simple statements sound like shade instead of excitement. not that he thinks he will be a bad parent, but growing up being compared to somebody could cause you to subconsciously compare yourself to them. and comparing yourself starting to something to somebody who’s already doing it might cause some feelings of slight insecurity. from what i know about them, they’ve completed milestones together or at the same time all along and this is a big life step that for once they’re not going into at the same time. this also could all be a reach i just like to analyze people’s behavior.

I think Marvel has a plan with RDJ as Dr.Doom, not exactly sure if it's long term tho, but I guess it could be. The MCU has already introduced the idea of variants, different versions of the same person from different universes. Most notably Spider-Man, The Human Torch, Mr.Fantastic, etc. So I think that's part of it. I think the other half of it is the comic history. Mr.Fantastic aka Reed Richards in Marvel lore is known as "the smartest man in the world". They already introduced that idea in Dr.Strange Multiverse of Madness with John Krasinski as Mr.Fantastic. I think that it's been confirmed that the new Fantastic 4 movie coming out occurs in a different timeline, which is part of the reason Mr.Fantastic got recast and is now being played by Pedro Pascal. In the comics, and we've seen from the original Fantastic 4 movie from 2005, Victor Von Doom is Reed Richards college roommate and intellectual rival, so he's smart but obviously he's not as smart as Reed. So how does that translate to RDJ being Dr.Doom? I think Marvel's plan with the MCU, is that this version of Doom is a variant of Tony Stark. Up until this point in the MCU, (we believed) Tony Stark was always the smartest guy. The "billionaire tech genius". So what I think they're gonna do is instead of Victor Von Doom being Reed Richards' college roommate/rival, I think it's gonna be a variant of Tony Stark. And because this occurs in a different universe or timeline or whatever, in this universe with the Fantastic 4, his name may not be Tony Stark, it's probably gonna be Victor Von Doom. I could be very much wrong tho lol but that's just my theory.
