They're definitely not.. those are nothing compared to how my dog was when I first got him. He would bark, howl and cry whenever he was left alone in his crate whenever I needed him to be and it took him about a month to learn to be quiet. Teaching them the command to go in their crate is the easy part. They hate being locked in in the beginning though.

I live in apartment (high up) with a dog and quickly learned to take them outside first thing. It may seem like a chore, but they need to learn to pee outside asap to get the hint. 😂 👌🏾

That’s what I was thinking. Puppy might get confused about where they should potty. Plus those pads do not work for poos. Puppies poo while spinning and traveling across the ground.

Same my dog pees only outside but I leave a pad just in case of anything for her there’s times I’m not home so the pad helps her out

You have to be careful when living in a complex/neighborhood with lots of other dogs. Until your puppy has gotten ALL their shots, (including Parvo shot) it’s important to not take them potty outside. There’s a risk of your puppy getting Parvo. Many puppies die for this, and it’s a terrible way to go. I can’t get too into it, buts it’s horrible.

Why do people teach their dogs to go potty in the house? That is exactly what you don't want. Using these puppy pads trains the puppy to go potty on soft things like rugs in the house, you'll never be able to have a clean rug in the house cause the dog will think it's a puppy pad. Teach them to only potty on grass and you won't have much to clean in the house, because the puppy will never ever assocoate the house with potty time.
