I will never be able to understand how this chiptune evokes the emotion it does in me. I have no idea why, but every single time I listen to this song, I feel inexplicable happy. I love this song so much, and hope that more people end up hearing it.

RELOCATED! I had totally lost access to this song, with the passing of an old iPhone and the loss of 8bc, but I always remembered it and kept playing it in my head. For some reason, I'd thought it was called "Forever without you," and kept searching for it. Finally I found an 8bc archive page and searched for the word "without," and found it!! OK, part of my life has been restored to completeness.

to me joule's modules sound a lot like mid 2010s kawaii future bass, its crazy how much ahead of their time were all of their late 2000's early 2010s tracks, composed, mind you, in tracker software. Imagine they just open up a daw with some synth plugins one random night in 2009 and we get future bass like 5 years earlier.

This is almost certainly one of the best chiptunes ever written. The only improvement I could suggest is that it never ended because from 3:10 on I am always saddened by the fade out. I shall specify that this play at my funeral because too awesome.
