its not shipments reduces hp. It means that shipments increases hp of land units by 2% and artillery and ships by 1%. So there was written -1% from those 2%

I don't think Callen is the 'lame' one, I think the lame one would be the meta player (Kees) who keeps repeating the same strategies for ages and skrim goons every game. Kees could have flattened Callens home base at any time for most of the game because he had no answer to gatlings until he got the rocket upgrades for his age iv musks. Instead he wasted his time and military superiority wandering around the map destroying outposts that didn't matter. Great job Callen!

As Malt building depots next to your outposts it increases there Rof also the enemy has to take explosion damage to get the outpost down unless done at range

I love the game but I wish it was more balanced in multiplayer team games. You have players with different ratings and many times you will get 1 team that is a bit overpowered than the other team making it unbalanced and unfair. This is the only issue I have with the game. Some players complain when others resign early but it is pretty obvious sometimes that 1 team has a edge over the other due to the player levels.

The game definitely isn’t dead! Lots of content and plenty of discord forums where you can meet up with people. I’m actually a total war player myself and was thinking of doing a stream at some point!

Ive been using a similiar strat with Malta, i start of with a Tp and send 2 church card for an instant second shipment after the 1st. Also i age with 200 gold plus the outpost then send De redin so you have 3 of them, rathe than settler wagons i send wignacourt.

Why would you need 3 outposts? Can't keep that kind of unit production in age 2

@@jobennebur To secure hunts or mine 3 is always better than 2 at any point in game, plus they provide eco bonus with Wignacourt. This guy had two plus a commandery so that's like 3 really.

this change made me reinstall AoE3. Malta makes me really happy, i love all their gimmicks and I was a Redin Towers enjoyer even when it was an Age 3 card. I'm thinking of a greedy age2 strat where i send German Settlers age 1, tower eco aura card (forgot it's name) right away in age 2, then De Redin towers third. now you have three outposts on the field giving an eco aura, defensive positions and three production structures so you can go right into Order Hussar, pikebow, or Sentinels depending on the situation. great as a flank player in a team game i imagine

I've been using the outpost barracks card since I first played Malta. Did it really fall under the radar?

It was an age 3 card before so it was useless.

@@fxmorin439 Oh? Well as a skirmish player, I thought it was still good even as an Age 3 option then. I guess it is simply because of the online meta then.

@@xmus4023 If you go age 3, you want to send the 1000 ressources shipments like crates and units. De Redin is worth 500 only. If you want to train units at this point, just send the fort card. As an age 3 De Redin is simply not good enough. As an age 2 card tho it's pretty good I think.

The US player played too greedy. I assume he was trying to go for a Highlander rush, but they took too long, giving the chance for Malta to destroy the trading posts, denying that strategy forcing them to switch to a resource heavy Fortress Age. That Age 3 factory also caused him to lose. He should of done French Canadians to get the Napoleon Guns. Or he could of gone Kentucky and chopped/bought for Kentucky Hunters. Eh, but what do I know, I'm barely 1k elo.
