i come back here often, although i Believe they had this kind of talk earlier than Malta, in 2017 or earlier (the snowball fight i think was their first physical encounter) 😢, But Malta definitely was very difficult for both. Knowing the one you love is going thru one if the saddest moments of his life and you can’t be there must be devastating. You could see how heartbroken 💔 Kookie was and how his whole being changed once Tae returned. I don’t know if Jin actually would be so supportive of Taekook because he seems to follow agency’s orders in separating Taekook. Just once in a blue does he go against staff to support Taekook. RM (has gone against staff separating Taekook & gets excited when Taekook interact romantically) Suga (sent long text in 2018 when Taekook was struggling regarding the separation ban) & Jhope (is Taekook’s blessed 3rd wheel) really support them. ❤ Jimin im torn about. I love vminkook and their friendship but so many times Jimin is hella sus. After hearing his story for his solo he admitted to being drunk many times during schedules. this may explain his odd behavior with Taekook. 😅 I am a Taekooker and a Yoonminer. I feel that at times when Yoongi is distant from Jimin he turns to others for validation and affection. RM even said Jimin needs alot of affection/attention. This at times may cause 😅 confusion between Taekook. But Bighit/Taekook, promotes Jikook in order to “protect” Taekook. Why? Because taekook is a real a real couple not a ship. This is also why they don’t deny dating rumors. They prefer to allow rumors of heterosexual dating even if false, before they support a homosexual relationship. Because Korea is extremely homophobic and gay rights ate non existent but cancel culture is fierce. It’d harm Taekook but BTS as a whole. Recently Taekook’s attendance at the movie premiere wearing GAY CODED clothing and being photographed alone without a 3rd wheel to me was a bold statement by Taekook. Of course & again these are my assumptions not facts.

I think South Korean people nowadays, especially their young generation, are not so homophobic anymore. Now there are already some korean BL (boys love) TV dramas, produced by Korean cineas, played by Korean actors, and well received by korean viewers/netizens. They are not as vulgar as Thai BL, but still gay dramas. However BTS has a lot of international fans (international Armys) who come from around the world, and a lot of them come from homophobic countries and are still homophobic/hate LGBT, meanwhile BTS depends a lot on Army (as concerts ticket and merchandise buyers, as well as free promotion agents). BTS is also a very huge tax payer for SK government (the 5 biggest national tax payer). That's why Bighit/Hybe has to manage carefully the gay issues in BTS. And that's why Dispatch tolerates to not expose Taekook too much and never uses word 'gay' to Taekook (only couple, boyfriends, Taekook, or just put emoji 👬), because word 'gay' still sounds offensive, attacking, rude, or negative for Asian people in general. I believe Dispatch loves Taekook and just wants to protect them, not because Dispatch was paid by Bighit. It's a complicated issue to be understood by Taekookers

I love them all but I never understood Jimin. But he’s changed a lot through the years. I often wondered the way he exposed things that were better left alone like the heart in the sand in BV. He must have known that more revealing would cause things to be difficult for Taekook but did it anyway. I believe he did support taekook in the beginning but over time maybe began to use fan service to get some of the attention he wanted, maybe even thought he deserved. He is such a wonderful dancer and hard worker and although I never cared for his voice he sounds great with BTS. At this point I hope they all will stay together and come back strong in 2025. If they don’t I’m sure they will be successful in whatever they do!

The interesting thing you mentioned was the high tax they get from BTS, BigHit, the government will get nothing in return why the are in military. They are the biggest group that has put Korea on the world stage, financially grown the Korean economy and they have to go do military service. How are Taekook going to do in that environment. Jungkook will handle it better, but Tae, is such a gentle soul, I worry for him.

We all have different point of views and prospects towards life. As a company HYBE is not wrong and not to be forgotten here, now BTS members are no more teenagers where they need constant protective environment. Before they were kids and they needed that support from company to be protected from the bad influences. Although this is also true that society is also greatest fearful factor as mentioned by @ValentineEvents. Company and members are a team and they need to work together. I strongly believe that Taekook are real and they mustn't stopped for what they are, they shouldn't be apologetic for their true feeling or identity or get unfair treatment from company or from anyone else. But for that all the Armys must work together to support them.

Great story. Jungkook and Tae ended sharing the bedroom in Malta. Tae did arrive later than everyone as what was shown on Bon Voyage. Tae chose his room because of the hints from JK.
