Three days ago I bought my first handpan, and since then I haven’t eaten, I haven’t slept, I can’t do anything, I just keep playing, playing, watching lessons, playing again. This is such an instrument that I can't stop playing... Thank you very much for your lessons, Malte! I love you and your music! 🙏

nice. you sound like me. i want to do something different in life and i always liked handpan and how it sounds. i been watching these vids for years. i might buy one soon.
@D.M.Transcendent Жыл бұрын
@@tallicafan85 I was the same. Listened for almost 2 years. NOW, i have been playing for almost two years and it's changed my life! My advice, if you're not already a drummer of some kind, Get a cheep pan, and learn on it. it doesnt need to be perfect to learn the fundamentals. Example: I got one off Temu recently to see what a $300 pan is like.. Well, it works. Is it in tune? Not really lol. Do some of the note fields ring out like a dying cat when hit to hard? YES. But i can still learn a lot with it. The 12 notes it has is a step up from my 9note, and it doesnt sound bad when i play it just right. This i believe will make the day i get a well crafted pan all the better, when i can jump right in and JAM. These Budget pans of mine still turn heads, and My skills grow everyday. I mean look at bucket drummers. They make gold from trash, literally. But if you can afford to toss out 1500$ to TRY something that you may have second thoughts on, go for it. I WOULD lol but i knew before i even touched one, that it was for me.

@@D.M.Transcendent im not musical in anyway. i finally got one 3 weeks ago. a GLADFRESIT 432hz Handpan Drum 9 note, was $500 with shipping. it sounds great, my friends even like it. its just a fun hobby with something that sounds awesome, even when just playing around still sounds good.

@@tallicafan85 Happy to hear it! A fun hobby indeed! I can't get enough. CHECK this out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIvWipKIbsqYbLc David is a wonderful teacher, as is our friend Malte here. Amy Naylor has also helped me learn a great bit. Khaligi is a pretty easy pattern (one of my first) and opens an ENDLESS amount of fun! Ding ghost ghost Ding ghost ghost TACK, Ding ghost ghost Ding ghost ghost TACK. Master that and BOOM, a whole world opens. There is a ton of lessons all over, as i'm sure you know. Have fun :D

First of all, I am very pleased that you like my music so much and that it accompanies you in your work. Secondly, the possibility of winning a handpan was if you registered with my studio, but this is off the table for now, because I simply don't have the time to do it. I underestimated it a little. So there's no way to win one for now, but I'll come up with a new concept for raffling them off again. Maybe you can check out my newletter from time to time, and you should get the right info.
