I loved the overall feel of the movie. It’s upbeat and romcoms are such a great escape like they mentioned here. Missed seeing JLO in these kinds of films. Maluma was incredibly natural in this role and as an actor. My only hang up is the chemistry between Jen and Owen. It seemed to lack. Their first kiss on the stage was awkward but understandable bc they had just met (in the movie). But after that… it still stayed that way. He didn’t seem to be into it as much as she was. She was selling the kiss and their new found romance to us while Owen stayed behind. Anyone else see it? Your thoughts?

I already thought they were gonna be awkward together cause I couldn't imagine THEM two as a couple but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Yeah, their chemistry was a little off though.They barley kissed. The 1st kiss on stage I thought it looked awkward at 1st but then Charlie seemed to be surprised/in awe of her. I did really like the movie. It was cute and fun to watch.

This is fabulously depicted in the film ALL ABOUT EVE with Bette Davis, she is 50ish looking but was really 40ish when filmed, she's still acting in youthful ingenue roles and is holding on to them ,when the roles calls for a 20-30 year old.when a scathing review states Ms Channing's role would be better suited for a younger actress, well it's a bitter pill to swallow. At 52 jlo should transition to better material
