The "gun depression" Gaijin gave it is absurd. You effectively can't fire hull down with it almost anywhere, especially not on hilly maps, which is strange because the whole point of the Swingfire was that it could turn 90 degrees immediately after firing, allowing firing around street corners and over steep ridges. IT-1, Raketenjagd, Shturm-S, all get concealed hull down ability. I 100% condone abusing sight ranging to make the Swingfire work properly.

Swingfire was a British wire-guided anti-tank missile developed in the 1960s and produced from 1966 until 1993. The name refers to its ability to make a rapid turn of up to ninety degrees after firing to bring it onto the line of the sighting mechanism. This means that the launcher vehicle could be concealed and the operator, using a portable sight, placed at a distance in a more advantageous firing position. Swingfire entered operational service in 1969 and underwent several major upgrades during its time in service. It was used on a number of vehicles including the FV438, FV102 and several truck mountings including the Land Rover and Ferret armoured car. Concepts adapting it to helicopters, tanks and even hovercraft went nowhere. Swingfire remained in service on the FV102 Striker until 2005 when they were retired in favour of man-portable missiles.

Striker > Swingfire It's the next vehicle in the line. It has 5 missiles ready to fire at a time and has the BAE Swingfire 2 mod which has like X2 pen compared to the Swingfire 1. Also the CVR(T) platform has much better mobility than the -M113- FV430 based Swingfire

The doesn't get that periscope though, which can be sad. Though it can fire and 'swing' its missiles 90° to the left or right, which can be quite fun when people don't think you're looking at them. For some reason the Swingfire can't fire the same way off the sides.

Striker might have 5 missiles ready at a time, but if someone shoots even one of those missiles, they're all gone (excluding the ones in the tank). The missile rack sticks up just as high as the gunner optics, so even behind a hulldown position, them getting shot is very likely, and you're end up not having any ammo left. Swingfire, on the other hand, the periscope helps a lot when hulldown. If the striker had a periscope, 100% would've been the better vehicle.
