The main issue that lies in using the LOSAT is that it nearly never gets long-range maps.

The problem is it cant shoot while driving. You have to be on a flat surface unless they are a mile away, even then you can never have you barrels facing down. It has no gun depression so you have to expose the entire tank to get a shot off. Its only positive is the speed of the missile, and how lethal it is ive the shot doesnt bounce.

if it was accurate to the real LOSAT (which was actually a modified bradley) it would be way better, it should legit canoe anything it hits. Actual hull break irl, even a bad shot would decimate the target. Plus it would be a flat launch off the rails

I've already made a very detailed bug report on why the guidance system is entirely inaccurate to the real life system, but they immediately labeled it as "not a bug" Gaijin simply doesn't care

If they fixed the guidance system to act like it did irl, the LOSAT would actually be very solid. It uses a system similar to what Hellfires use (looking at the laser end point rather than the entire laser itself), allowing for a near 100% hit rate, which is a system we already have in game Yet after several bug reports, they refuse to fix it (claiming it's not a bug)

which actually means he wouldnt get a decent portion of the kills presented in the video because he used over the hill shots, so the laser end was poiting at the ground right in front of him and not the target.

It's still somewhat useful in cityscapes and urban areas where maps are relatively flat so enemies can't hide behind hills. Although, you could just take the Abrams and basically do the same thing while having more protection is the sad part...

That is because the gunner sight of the Bradley is lined up up the atgm launch direction and the tipofthebarrel sight you normally use was lined up with the autocannon and not the launchers. This only has launchers and it is lined up with them. It wouldn't make a difference.
