1:29 The part you shot has a 67° angle and you were shooting from above it, so it was more like a 70-75° angle. There was no way it would have penetrated. You needed to aim higher there (which obviously was not easy given the time constraints). Edit: It was really basically on the weld line between the flat side armor and the angled side armor. It was obviously ever so slightly on the angled plate, so the game just counted it as a ricochet. It could have done some minimal damage, but I'd put emphasis on the word minimal.

Some vehicles in the game have a sound issue, basically where there should be cannon/MG/engine sounds there isn't anything (sometimes the tank/plane that destroyed you has NO sound coming from them at all) and Gaijin has said for the last 2-3 patches that this issue has been completely fixed but it hasn't.

@@terrified057t4 Also, the buffs to aircraft cannons makes them nutty at chewing up a lot of stuff that would only get tickled before. The filling out of MG 151 belts with APHE on lower tier planes has opened up huge possibilities. Most implementations only get 60 rounds per gun and they used to be 3:1 HE to APHE. Now they're the other way around plus the pen is way up so two bursts into a turret roof tends to kill stuff 25-35mm of pen isn't enough when you're staring down the main gun's barrel but from where I'm usually at in GRB, it's just right

about 0:50: in xray replays vehicles are not frozen in time, they move like they do in real time what happened can be seen in the very frame you shot him, the barrel ate the shell anyaway, that barrel shouldnt eat the entire shell so we still have to blame gaijin for that

are you serious? What is the point in the replays then? You literately can only rely on the replay of where the shot go if the enemy tank is 100% still before and continue to be completely still after you shot it? What your saying is true btw. In the video going back and looking it really lines up. But dose that not mean every single replay or rather live display of where your shot went is pointless in real scenarios? And really it is like WG that in reality you can screw yourself they decides if you are going to have a good time or not. Really the shot hit the side of the turret but first into the gun barrel. But in the replay the shot hit more or less into the center of the turret and vanished. Really there is very very few reasons to play WT since it seems like a waste of brain cells. That, that comes from a WoT player. Maybe airplanes are good (way better then anything Wargaming have managed in there shit engine) But WT is mixing simulator together with broken code and arcade mechanics in ground battles. HELLICOPTER HELLICPOPER. WG seems for the most part to make code that is competent. But fail to give a dam about balance. But then WT is just as bad about that part.

Wait wait wait! No it is not more likely that it is a matter of latency? Look agen. It seems like maybe the machine gun thing was aiming at Malzi but due to lag the clients where not synced up. Maybe the replay shows the enemy's reported position at the time of the shots landing to the server after the fact. Like remember there is latency to the server and then to the enemy's screen. But to make aiming consistent it is Malzi hitting the machine gun first that makes the shot be eaten and poofed? So on Malzi screen he hit the machine gun. But the enemy was trying to aim at Malzi and was actually on his screen facing that orientation when hit and the replay displayed that he should have hit him but only due to lag making the update not showing on Malzi screen. So he actually hit the machine gun since the lag made the turret rotation out of sync. Really screw WT. Have no idea how they lag compensate but I can really believe it is due to clients ping to the servers and such making this inconsistency impossible to clear up. But it really is strange to have a replay that do not line up to what happened on your screen. Like wtf if in reality the replay shows what the enemy was really doing then he should have scored a hit even if on Maliz screen he hit the machinegum. MACHINEGUM! So instead of showing what is the final ruling on where the shot ended up it shows the enemy's view but how on your screen the shot was counted as. Meaing that there is 2 perspectives that are mixed together and makes no sense. And HP was a bad idea exactly why? WTF. Maybe most of this bullshit is due to lag and witch client WT decided to favor. Really even WoT got latency and ghost shells. But WT seems like ping is making players with low ping suffer even now they are innocent and just get shafted on principle. It makes more sense to display a replay exactly where the shot was latency corrected as being the "true" way the shot landed. And blame guns not being 100% actuate when you take the shot. Sounds familiar? Like how some outer game dose it to a extreme to force p2w. But yes Crazy. Your right Maliz had a bad shot and just hit the machine gun. Nothing wrong with that since it was a snapshot of hope. But it is messed up that the replay is so useless. Even in the replay is the machine gun showing damage but the shell is far from hitting it in the replay. The shot was not 100% eaten by the machine gun but the little bit going passed the gun hit nothing of note. It hit no crew or component outside of the machine gun ofc.

​@@TheDiner50 No, it's really just that, on a replay, the enemy moves as he moves while that replay is being played, regardless of how he moved during the actual shot. I have seen this myself many times, and have even used it to my advantage.

For the clip at the end, you can indeed shoot through allies. Just like for dead tanks, friendlies keep their armor values so you can shoot through them if your round is powerful enough. Got a ton of kills that way, whether it is enemies getting bonked by sabot behind dead tanks or friendlies popping in front of me as I shoot

0:50 yeah thats normal gepards are incredibly tough even if you get the drop on them. I have tried the 57mm Russian "aa gun" while beside it, the dual 37mm one from an angle, and 100mm HEATFS shells and I never even get a crew member. I would rather fight a maus with a 45mm HE shell and at this point if I see a gepard unless I am moving to drop a 1,000kg bomb on it I just J out.
