I posted a short of this, but this is the full cut. Nothing too exciting, but they're pretty darn cute. I hope you enjoy this one!

HAHA! Totally agree. I'm pretty sure at least one of those fawns is a buck too.

Nothing loves like a mother can. Oh how protected and secure those little ones must feel around mama

Until the coyotes come out! Mama stays away after dark. That's why she licks their bottoms. The fawns don't have scent and mama is keeping them safe and scent free.

They haven't been hanging around quite as much this year, so I'm glad I caught it. Thanks! Hope you had a great 4th of July!

Some awesome footage Ryan! That's a good sign of a healthy population. Pretty sweet you got close to that 👊

The neighborhood population is thriving. Probably not quite as good in the wild. This was the first year I didn't draw a doe tag, which is usually a gimme 🤔

They don't show up until about mid to late June. I think that's a little behind the rest of the country😁

Nice capture. They are cute. I learned that there are likely more deer now in NJ then 200 years ago. I can't imagine how it is over there.

It's not as good... Mule deer numbers are low from what I've heard. Winter was pretty hard on the hooved critters this year 😬

Very cool! Your deer look a good bit different (in the face area) than our deer. Possibly bigger ears?
@JumbleTronChannel11 ай бұрын
Definitely bigger ears on mule deer. I'm pretty sure the fawn in the back was a male. Male mule deer have very distinct faces.
