I don't know why, but I just broke down in tears watching this. All of us moms have to realize that there but for the Grace of God, that could have been us. They are victims of their circumstances, being born or raised in Chicago. When I look at older videos of these kids from 63rd and Oblock, most of them are dead, leaving behind mothers and families. I am praying for these families. I'm from Newark NJ, and although it could get wild here, I don't think it was like Chicago. I like this interview. I’m glad DJU gave Mama K.I. a voice. I definitely understand what she said about Butta. He should have come forward in the beginning, instead of 10 years later. She is correct in her way of thinking that had he come forward prior it could have probably saved some lives. Everyone in these comments are speaking negatively or saying “she’s changed” but 10 years of people speaking on your child, documentaries, losing her child and anything else in life will make you change.
