I understand you are new to this world but the world has moved on to quiet luxury and innumerable brands offer chic bags which are also BDS-safe. However, overconsumption and drooling over material things regularly underline early insecurities. What I can't wrap my mind around is why ostentatiously brands that are on BDS list and claim to be an advocate of human rights and animal rights when you are no different than other influencers who are tone-deaf, pretentious and lack a conscience. It's the hypocrisy that's appalling! We understand you are unfazed by ongoing genocide and don't want to boycott, so just live your life. Please don't put up Instagram stories, this performative activitism is embarrassing and disingenuous . kindly don't come at me and say oh but why you are on Google, it furthers their military industry complex, let them live their lives, did you stop living your life? This is the most illogical and absurd response. I don't have 300K on Instagram nor I have a big platform on youtube. I don't share the burden of using my platform responsibly. We cannot boycott everything but we surely can boycott a lot of brands that are on BDS list that are not life necessities. We all are doing our bit. Voices do matter and make a difference, if they didn't, the apologists would not go above and beyond to ban tiktok and curtail free speech on social media.
